-My professor Raquel contacted SHM alumni and Pixar storyboard artist Yung-Han Chang about helping me with my storyboards, and he agreed to help!
-I created my powerpoint for my pitch next Friday
-I made a post asking for more vis dev help and Darlene Mapanao replied! Darlene is now a part of the crew.
-Saw the first round of inspiring character costume designs from my vis dev crew and gave them a lot of comments and critiques

-Did more storyboarding
-Met up with my mentor Scott and got awesome critiques on my storyboards that are making me rethink my thesis as a whole. So I am starting over again. As much as it worries me to keep making drastic changes to the story when I am already 6 weeks in, I figured out that deep down this wasn't really what I wanted to do for my animation. My driving force for these storyboards was the theme of overcoming anxiety. I connect to the underlying story emotionally but that isn't even really reading in the storyboards. While talking to Scott I realized that in order to make it clearer to the audience, I would have to sacrifice other things that I discovered mean more to me than just conveying a message. I would actually be pretty unhappy with animating what are in the storyboards below... so I need to go back even further to what my ORIGINAL thoughts were when starting this animation in the summer and adjust the story accordingly. I love the world and the character, I just need to change the story again.
